Major cloud computing providers have announced their latest quarter results. Amazon is still leading the cloud computing market in terms of revenue. In 2Q19, AWS reported revenue of US$8.38bn, up 37% YoY. The growth is solid given its scale, in our view. Its annual revenue run rate came to US$33bn, increased by US$9bn from last quarter, the second largest increase to 4Q18 in its history.
