On 21st January, during the period of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, Wen Guohui, Deputy Secretary of Guangzhou Municipal Committee and Mayor of Guangzhou city, led a delegation from Guangzhou to visit AMTD House. He had bilateral meetings with Calvin Choi, Chairman and CEO of AMTD Group, and David Chiu, Chairman of Far East Consortrium International Ltd., Deputy Director of the Social and Legal Affairs Committee of the CPPCC, and Vice President of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, on promoting the deep integration of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the investment and development in South China with Guangzhou as the headquarters. Mayor Wen fully affirmed the remarkable achievements made by AMTD Group in recent years and the vibrant and rapid growth of the group. During the period of the 2020 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, 「Smart Asia: Connecting the Greater Bay Area with ASEAN」 and 「Greater Bay Entrepreneurship Day」 hosted by AMTD Group were successfully held.
