AMTD was selected by Institutional Investor as one of the most influential Fintech movers in 2016 (2016 Global Fintech Finance 35). AMTD has entered into strategic partnerships with The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the University of Waterloo in Canada respectively, for the establishment of “AMTD FinTech Centre of PolyU Faculty of Business” and “University of Waterloo – AMTD Innovation Hub”.

In June 2017, AMTD successfully completed its US$ 200mm senior perpetual bond offering, representing the first Hong Kong non-bank financial institution which is unrated, unsecured, non-listed to issue a publicly tradable senior perpetual bond on the back of its strong credit profile. Following the successful issuance of its US$ 160mm 3-year USD bond in 2016, AMTD has once again achieved another landmark in the international debt capital markets.

Assisting clients in raising funds through equity and debt financing, providing underwriting services for initial public offerings, private placements, debt and equity issuances, and providing financial advisory services.

Asset Management

Providing discretionary account and fund management services, investment advisory services.

Insurance Brokerage

Providing insurance advisory and brokerage services to corporate clients for their corporate insurance programmes, which include the sourcing of insurance programmes, such as property damage insurance, third party liability insurance, motor vehicle insurance and employee insurance.

Strategic Investment

Focusing on strategic private equity investments, and the identification and incubation of innovative “new economy” companies that have high growth potential. Our key sectors of investments are internet of things (IOT), innovative science and technology, and finance.
